January 30, 2024: Slaughter, LA 70777 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East Feliciana Tigers (Jackson, LA) basketball squad felled the host Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), by a margin of 52-39.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, St. James was beaten by E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 52-49, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Thrive Academy for a 1A District 9 outing on Thursday, February 1. Slaughter Community Charter will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-33 league win over Central Private (Baker, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-8.
