Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), 75-72 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lennox upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Western Christian (Hull, IA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Western Christian won 69-48 in their recent non-league bout against Tea (Tea, SD)

Next up, the Huskies play the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) in a A Region 4 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Elk Point-Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
