Oregon High School Basketball - Elkton overwhelms Yoncalla
January 30, 2024: Elkton, OR 97436 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR) and the visiting Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR), saw Elkton's basketball squad wallop Yoncalla by a tally of 63-30.
With the victory, Elkton improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR) to confront the Hornets in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, February 2. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Camas Valley lost 51-38 in their recent league challenge against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, February 2. Yoncalla will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 50-34 league loss to Pacific (Port Orford, OR).
