Missouri High School Basketball - St. James nips Newburg
January 30, 2024: Newburg, MO 65550 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. James Tigers (St. James, MO) and the host Newburg Wolves (Newburg, MO), saw St. James's basketball squad hold off Newburg by a count of 52-49.
With the victory, St. James upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pacific (Pacific, MO) to play the Indians in a Four Rivers challenge on Friday, February 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Wolves play the Licking Wildcats (Licking, MO) in a Frisco challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Newburg will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
