January 30, 2024: Port Orford, OR 97465 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pacific (Port Orford, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR), by a margin of 50-34.
The (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against Powers (Powers, OR). The Cruisers go into the 1A Skyline outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Powers was beaten by Elkton (Elkton, OR), 57-20, in a league outing.
The Badgers now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Imbler for a 1A Old Oregon outing on Friday, February 2. Powder Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 49-19 league win over Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 20-2.
