January 30, 2024: Seymour, IA 52590 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) and the host Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), saw Wayne's basketball squad wallop Seymour by a tally of 72-32.
With the victory, Wayne improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Chariton (Chariton, IA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Chariton won 97-65 in their recent league challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Seymour will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 55-34 non-league loss to North Polk (Alleman, IA).
