January 30, 2024: Akron, OH 44303 The St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs (Stow, OH), 59-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Fighting Irish (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Westerville North (Westerville, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Westerville North got by Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH), 65-47, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Twinsburg for a Suburban - National test on Friday, February 2. Stow-Munroe Falls will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 79-67 league loss to Solon (Solon, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
