South Dakota High School Basketball - Cheyenne-Eagle Butte can't hold off Bennett County

The Bennett County Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves to 46 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis Indian for a A Region 7 contest on Friday, February 2. Bennett County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 72-18 league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.

The Braves (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Chieftains enter the A Region 6 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Crow Creek nudged Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
