Kansas High School Basketball - Bennington overwhelms Trinity
January 30, 2024: Hutchinson, KS 67501 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bennington Bulldogs (Bennington, KS) and the host Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), witnessed Bennington's basketball squad crush Trinity by a margin of 53-30.
The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Sedgwick (Sedgwick, KS). The Cardinals go into the Heart of America test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Sedgwick was trounced by Marion (Marion, KS), 51-37, in a non-league test.
The Celtics now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Remington for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Trinity will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 55-20 non-league win over West Elk (Howard, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 8-4.
