The Brandon Blackhawks basketball team (Ortonville, MI), was nipped 68-63 in Tuesday's league match with the visiting Swartz Creek Dragons (Swartz Creek, MI)

In their next game, the Dragons meet the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 31. Swartz Creek will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-10 record after their 40-19 league loss to Lakeville (Otisville, MI).
