The Bulldogs now possess a 26-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jarrell for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, February 2. Burnet will battle a Cougars team coming off a 52-31 league win over Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 20-11.
The Texans (20-15) will now prepare for their battle against Navarro (Geronimo, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region IV District 27 battle with a 23-11 record. In their last battle, Navarro was nudged by Boerne (Boerne, TX), 55-22, in a league battle.
