Kansas High School Basketball - Classical holds off Hartford
January 30, 2024: Hartford, KS 66854 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Classical Saints (Wichita, KS) and the host Hartford Jaguars (Hartford, KS), saw Classical's basketball squad hold off Hartford by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Classical improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Clearwater (Clearwater, KS) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Clearwater won 54-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Andover Central (Andover, KS)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Hartford will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 62-8 non-league win over Southern Coffey County (LeRoy, KS).
