Louisiana High School Basketball - Parkview Baptist crushes Collegiate
January 30, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA), 73-19 in a league bout.
With the victory, Parkview Baptist upgrades its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Panthers in a 3A District 6 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-19. Glen Oaks lost 69-47 in their recent league bout against Doyle (Livingston, LA)
Next up, the play the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 53-35 league win over Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA).
