New Jersey High School Basketball - High Point knocked off by North Hunterdon
January 30, 2024: Annandale, NJ 08801 The North Hunterdon Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting High Point Wildcats to 46 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Pingry School for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. North Hunterdon will battle a Big Blue team coming off a 64-60 non-league win over Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 11-6.
The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Parsippany Hills was defeated by Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ), 35-17, in a non-league contest.
