The Southside Christian (Clayton, NC) varsity basketball team won Tuesday's home non-conference game against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC) by a score of 27-22.

The Southside Christian Warriors basketball team scored 27 points and held the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans to 22 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson Christian Academy for a NCCSA AA East Region 3 contest on Friday, February 2. Southside Christian will battle a Chargers team coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 14-9.
The Spartans (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles enter the NCISAA Carolina Independent contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Fayetteville Academy nudged Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC), 43-29, in a league contest.
