Ohio High School Basketball - Temple Christian holds off Lucas
January 30, 2024: Mansfield, OH 44905 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Temple Christian Crusaders (Mansfield, OH) and the visiting Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH), saw Temple Christian's basketball squad hold off Lucas by a tally of 51-44.
With the victory, Temple Christian improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to HEARTS for Jesus Christ (North Olmsted, OH) to confront the Guardians in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Guardians come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. HEARTS for Jesus Christ won 66-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Christian (Brooklyn, OH)
Next up, the Cubs confront the Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Lucas will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 43-36 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH).
