Michigan High School Basketball - St. Joseph winner over Niles
January 30, 2024: St. Joseph, MI 49085 The St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) basketball felled the visiting Niles Vikings (Niles, MI), 27-19 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs go into the Southwestern Michigan - West test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Portage Central thwarted Marshall (Marshall, MI), 45-34, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Otsego for a Wolverine B test on Friday, February 2. Niles will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 38-32 non-league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
