January 30, 2024: Morristown, NJ 07960 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) ice hockey team nudged the host Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ), by a margin of 2-1.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montclair Kimberley Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. Summit will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-11.
The Colonials (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Morris Knolls was edged by Randolph (Randolph, NJ), 10-4, in a league challenge.
