Michigan High School Basketball - Benton Harbor holds off Lakeshore
January 30, 2025: Benton Harbor, MI 49022 The Benton Harbor Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Lakeshore Lancers to 58 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Niles for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Benton Harbor will confront a Vikings team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Lakeshore falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Lancers host Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to confront the Wildcats in a Southwestern Michigan - West game on Friday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 3-11. Mattawan lost 52-40 in their recent non-league game against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)
