Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bourne routs Nantucket
January 30, 2025: Bourne, MA 02532 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Bourne Canalmen basketball team scored a big 91-63 triumph over the Nantucket Whalers.
The Canalmen (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seekonk (Seekonk, MA). The Warriors go into the South Coast contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Seekonk smashed Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA), 62-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Whalers battle the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA) in a Cape & Islands - Meritime contest, on Saturday, February 1. Nantucket will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
