Michigan High School Basketball - River Rouge can't hold off Carman-Ainsworth
January 30, 2025: River Rouge, MI 48218 Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team edge the host River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI), 68-67 in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Detroit, MI). The Trail Blazers come into the non-league challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Central was tipped by Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI), 50-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Loyola Bull Dogs (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. River Rouge will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Bull Dogs come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 65-19 non-league win over Erie-Mason (Erie, MI).
