Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County thwarts St. Mary
January 30, 2025: Benton, KY 42025 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the visiting St. Mary Vikings (Paducah, KY), observed Marshall County's basketball team knock off St. Mary by a score of 68-48.
The Marshals (21-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Graves County prevailed over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 83-72, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. St. Mary will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 70-30 non-league loss to Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY).
