Florida High School Basketball - Suwannee bested by Santa Fe
January 30, 2025: Live Oak, FL 32064 Santa Fe Raiders (Alachua, FL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL), 72-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Santa Fe advances its record to 13-10 on the year. The Raiders host Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL) to meet the Tigers in a 4A District 5 match on Friday, January 31. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-12. Dunnellon lost 71-58 in their recent non-league match against Mount Dora Christian Academy (Mount Dora, FL)
The Bulldogs now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. Suwannee will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to Columbia (Lake City, FL). The Cowboys record now stands at 17-5.
