In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Auburn Rockets basketball team scored a close 36-31 triumph over the Quaboag Regional Cougars.

The Rockets (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, MA). The Clockers go into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Ashland was tipped by Westwood (Westwood, MA), 49-46, in a league contest.
