Kansas High School Basketball - Osage City triumphant over Council Grove
January 30, 2025: Osage City, KS 66523 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Osage City Indians (Osage City, KS) and the visiting Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), observed Osage City's basketball team overwhelm Council Grove by a score of 67-29.
The Indians (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Heights (Allen, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Northern Heights was routed by Marais des Cygnes Valley (Melvern, KS), 60-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Marion Warriors (Marion, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Council Grove will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 46-23 league win over Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS).
