January 30, 2025: Geary, OK 73040 The Okeene Whippets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Geary Bison to 32 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Whippets now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Timberlake for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Okeene will play a Tigers team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Medford (Medford, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss, Geary drops to 5-15 on the year. The Bison host Verden (Verden, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-11. Verden lost 56-23 in their recent league match against Minco (Minco, OK)
