New Jersey High School Basketball - Hanover Park thwarts Rahway
January 30, 2025: East Hanover, NJ 07936 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) and the visiting Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ), observed Hanover Park's basketball team knock off Rahway by a score of 47-30.
The Hornets (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ). The Panthers come into the Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Academy of St. Elizabeth prevailed over Veritas Christian Academy (Sparta, NJ), 38-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians encounter the Union Farmers (Union, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Rahway will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 47-41 league loss to Linden (Linden, NJ).
