In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Indian Creek Timberwolves basketball team scored a good 58-38 triumph over the Newark Norsemen.

The Timberwolves (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL). The Cogs go into the non-league contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Genoa-Kingston topped Oregon (Oregon, IL), 49-41, in a league contest.
