Wyoming High School Basketball - Midwest holds off Rock River
January 30, 2025: Midwest, WY 82643 The Midwest Oilers basketball team scored 31 points and limited the visiting Rock River Longhorns to 25 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Oilers now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Upton for a 1A Northeast game on Friday, January 31. Midwest will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Niobrara County (Lusk, WY). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Rock River falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Niobrara County (Lusk, WY) to confront the Tigers in a 1A Southeast game on Saturday, February 1. The Tigers enter the outing with a record of 11-4. Niobrara County lost 47-36 in their recent non-league outing against Upton (Upton, WY)
