Nevada High School Flag Football - Western thwarted by Cimarron-Memorial
January 30, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89128 Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), 20-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cimarron-Memorial improves its record to 4-12 on the year. The Spartans host Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Mountain contest on Friday, January 31. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 1-8. Somerset Sky Pointe lost 56-18 in their recent league contest against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)
Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Western will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Blue Knights enter the contest with a 1-10 record after their 19-7 league win over Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV).
