Virginia High School Basketball - Bayside crushes Tallwood
January 30, 2025: Virginia Beach, VA 23455 The Bayside Marlins (Virginia Beach, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), 62-31 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Marlins now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Veritas Collegiate Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Bayside will play a Spartans team coming off a 70-67 non-league loss to Spirit HomeSchool (Richmond, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Tallwood falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Manor won 40-33 in their recent league bout against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
