In Friday's league test, the Tempe Prep Knights (Tempe, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ), by a score of 73-44.

Next, the Knights encounter the Phoenix Country Day Eagles (Paradise Valley, AZ) in a 2A Valley test, on Monday, February 2. Tempe Prep will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 21-1 record after their 72-55 league win over Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
