January 31, 2022: Pineville, KY 40977 In Monday's non-league outing, the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY), by a margin of 67-38.
The Bobcats (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons go into the District 52 outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Harlan was trounced by Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 63-61, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Clay County for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 3. Leslie County will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 79-49 league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-12.
