Kentucky High School Basketball - Green County fells Casey County
January 31, 2022: Greensburg, KY 42743 Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY), 57-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Green County upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Dragons travel to Hart County (Munfordville, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 18 bout on Friday, February 4. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Hart County lost 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY)
Next up, the Rebels play the Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Casey County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 56-51 league win over Southwestern (Somerset, KY).
