Washington High School Basketball - Ilwaco tops Chief Leschi
January 31, 2022: Puyallup, WA 98371 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) and the host Chief Leschi Warriors (Puyallup, WA), saw Ilwaco's basketball squad knock off Chief Leschi by a count of 75-66.
With the victory, Ilwaco upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Fishermen host North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA) to play the Hyaks in a 2B Pacific challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Hyaks come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. North Beach won 57-54 in their recent league challenge against South Bend (South Bend, WA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Forks Spartans (Forks, WA) in a 2B Pacific challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Chief Leschi will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 80-39 league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA).
