The Velva Aggies basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Drake/Anamoose Raiders to 36 in the Aggies league victory on Monday.

The Aggies now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Des Lacs-Burlington for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 3. Velva will battle a Lakers team coming off a 42-25 non-league loss to Rugby (Rugby, ND). The Lakers record now stands at 8-4.

The Raiders (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
