Illinois High School Basketball - Pawnee overwhelms Mt. Olive
January 31, 2022: Pawnee, IL 62558 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL) and the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL), saw Pawnee's basketball squad wallop Mt. Olive by a tally of 55-16.
With the victory, Pawnee improves its record to 4-21 on the campaign. The Indians host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 17-6.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the East Alton-Wood River Oilers (Wood River, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Mt. Olive will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Oilers come into the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 79-18 league loss to Breese Central (Breese, IL).
