California High School Basketball - Sage Ridge can't hold off South Tahoe

January 31, 2022: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The South Tahoe Vikings basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Sage Ridge Scorpions to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wooster for a 3A Northern - West contest on Wednesday, February 2. South Tahoe will battle a Colts team coming off a 35-28 league win over Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Colts record now stands at 9-9.

The Scorpions (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Lakers enter the 1A Western contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Pyramid Lake nudged Coleville (Coleville, CA), 66-31, in a league contest.
