The Calvary Christian Cougar basketball team scored 28 points and held the visiting Tabernacle Christian Ram to 12 in the Cougar non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougar now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Grove Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1. Calvary Christian will meet a Patriots team coming off a 22-18 league loss to Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-2.
The Ram (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC). The Sharks enter the contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Shining Light Baptist Academy was outscored by Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC), 15-6, in a non-league contest.
