Florida High School Basketball - Deltona crushes Matanzas
January 31, 2022: Deltona, FL 32725 Deltona Wolves (Deltona, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL), 70-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Deltona upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Wolves host Atlantic (Port Orange, FL) to clash with the Sharks in a bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Atlantic lost 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against University (Orange City, FL)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Creekside Knights (St. Johns, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 3. Matanzas will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL).
