Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Cecilia holds off Adams Central
January 31, 2023: Hastings, NE 68901 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) and the visiting Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), saw St. Cecilia's basketball squad hold off Adams Central by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, St. Cecilia improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Bluehawks travel to Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Lincoln Lutheran won 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Scotus (Columbus, NE)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Adams Central will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 53-36 non-league win over Lakeview (Columbus, NE).
