Connecticut High School Basketball - Tolland thwarts Berlin
January 31, 2023: Berlin, CT 06037 The Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT) basketball knocked off the host Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT), 58-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Stafford notched a victory over Suffield (West Suffield, CT), 42-40, in a league test.
The Redcoats now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Berlin will encounter a Warhawks squad coming off a 75-63 non-league win over East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-2.
