In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Monroeville Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 55-25 triumph over the Buckeye Central Bucks.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) in a Firelands match, on Friday, February 3. Monroeville will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Roughriders enter the match with a 8-8 record after their 98-69 league loss to Emmanuel Christian (Toledo, OH).
