Louisiana High School Basketball - Pearl River nips Central Private
January 31, 2023: Pearl River, LA 70452 Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pearl River upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Rebels travel to Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-12.
Next up, the Redhawks play the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 1A District 9 bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Central Private will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Kittens go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 58-33 non-league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA).
