Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) and the visiting Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL), saw Central's basketball squad overcome Gaither by a tally of 73-61.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 20-3. East Lake won 66-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Dunedin (Dunedin, FL)

Next up, the Cowboys confront the Lennard Longhorns (Ruskin, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Gaither will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 77-57 non-league win over Chamberlain (Tampa, FL).
