January 31, 2023: Charlevoix, MI 49720 The Charlevoix Rayders basketball team (Charlevoix, MI), was overwhelmed 67-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI)
The Northmen now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaylord for a Big North battle on Friday, February 3. Petoskey will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-6.
The Rayders (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks come into the Lake Michigan battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Elk Rapids was overwhelmed by Boyne City (Boyne City, MI), 70-43, in a league battle.
