Tennessee High School Basketball - Coalfield ripped by Scott
January 31, 2023: Huntsville, TN 37756 The Scott Highlanders basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Coalfield Yellow Jackets to 51 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Campbell County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Scott will battle a Cougars team coming off a 63-61 league loss to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-14.
The Yellow Jackets (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Sunbright (Sunbright, TN). The Tigers enter the 1A District 3 contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Sunbright triumphed over Midway (Kingston, TN), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
