January 31, 2023: Colome, SD 57528 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats (Kimball, SD) and the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), saw Kimball/White Lake's basketball squad hold off Colome by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Kimball/White Lake improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wildkats host Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to play the Black Panthers in a A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Platte/Geddes won 71-51 in their recent league challenge against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) in a B Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Colome will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 70-47 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD).
