Connecticut High School Basketball - Warde holds off Danbury
January 31, 2023: Fairfield, CT 06430 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) and the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), saw Warde's basketball squad hold off Danbury by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Warde improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to confront the Eagles in a Fairfield County challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Trumbull won 62-45 in their recent league challenge against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
Next, the Hatters encounter the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a Fairfield County outing, on Friday, February 3. Danbury will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 6-7 record after their 68-62 league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).
