New Jersey High School Basketball - Delaware Valley nips Wallkill Valley
January 31, 2023: Frenchtown, NJ 08825 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ) and the visiting Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ), saw Delaware Valley's basketball squad hold off Wallkill Valley by a count of 61-57.
With the victory, Delaware Valley upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Hopewell Valley Central won 54-43 in their recent league challenge against Steinert (Hamilton, NJ)
Next up, the Rangers play the Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Wallkill Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 73-56 non-league loss to Snyder (Jersey City, NJ).
